Guarantees – limitations
In order for the guarantee to be valid, the bath/basin must be installed and used correctly. The guarantee does not cover damage and functional faults caused by careless handling, e.g. impact damage. Neither does the guarantee cover damage caused by incorrect cleaning (scrubbing or use of abrasive or corrosive cleaning products), damage arising from normal wear such as surface scratches, incorrect or faulty installation, use of non-original spare parts, inappropriate use or failure to follow installation or maintenance instructions.

The guarantee does not cover costs other than those specified below. Any third party costs or consequential damage should be covered by the installation firm’s or the user’s insurance policies.

The guarantee is not valid if the product is ex-display and is, or has been, marked as not approved for operation.

Guarantee – scope

In addition to the statutory two (2) year guarantee provided under the Consumer Sales Act, our products are covered by a further ten (10) year guarantee for manufacturing and material faults. After the first two (2) years, we will replace the actual bath or basin if an approved guarantee claim is made. However, we will not pay the installation costs. Mora Armatur may send a service technician if necessary during the first two years. The guarantee is not valid if the product has been used in situations other than home use in a bathroom environment. The guarantee does not cover bathroom furniture, baths and basins that have been continuously subjected to running water in ways other than for normal tap water use. Push-down wastes, drains and other mechanical components are not covered by this extended guarantee period. Mora Armatur products are guaranteed as of the purchase date, or, if there is no purchase date, as of first use of the product (the customer must be able to prove the date of the final inspection of the installed product). The guarantee claim must be approved by Mora Armatur before work starts.

The product must be easily accessible for servicing in order for the guarantee to be valid.

Total guarantee period:

12 year acrylic guarantee. Applies to free-standing acrylic baths in the MARE collection. Covers shape retention, crack formation (due to ageing) and discolouration. Some fading is to be expected. The guarantee does not cover discolouration caused by inadequate maintenance or incorrect use of the product.

2 year material guarantee on parts, e.g. push-down waste. If a valid guarantee claim is made, a new part will be sent to replace the old one.
